Kathe M. Holscher, passed away on November 24, 2025, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, at the age of 80. Born on January 4, 1945, in Odense, Denmark, Kathe exemplified a life filled with love, creativity, and a selfless spirit that touched all who knew her.
Moving to South Carolina in 1964, Kathe was known for her intelligence and artistic flair. As the owner of Amtech Enterprises with her husband, she demonstrated not just business acumen but also a personal touch that made all her endeavors successful. Her work was a reflection of her dedication and innovative mindset, traits that endeared her to colleagues and clients alike.
Kathe was a woman who loved deeply. She cherished time spent with her family, which was central to her heart. During her life she was lovingly known as "Munchkin" by her sons, "Nanny" by her grandchildren and "Bibber" by family in Denmark. She is survived by her son, Thomas Holscher (Ann), along with her cherished grandchildren: Bryan, Rachel, Will, Emily, Blake, and Kathe Holscher. The joy of her life is further enriched by her great-grandchild, Jameson. Additionally, she leaves behind an extensive extended family in Denmark, highlighting her roots and the connections she maintained across generations and oceans.
Kathe is preceded in death by her dear sons, Steven Holscher and Brian Holscher, her husband, Erling Holscher, and her parents, W. T. Carlsen and Ruth Carlsen. Though they are no longer with us, their memories blend with Kathe's legacy, creating a tapestry of familial love that will endure.
Kathe M. Holscher will be remembered for her loving nature, her selfless acts, her creativity, and her unyielding commitment to family.
