Katherine Hooper of Piedmont, SC passed away on June 3, 2022 in Greenville SC. Katherine is survived by her sister, Lena Black (Johnny); many nieces and nephews; and very special friends, Betty and Gerald Walker.
Katherine was a natural-born caretaker – she loved caring for her family members, and she worked for many years as a medical aid. Caring for others was her true calling in life. In her free time, she loved to travel with her late husband, Newton. She had an artistic side a well – she enjoyed making all kinds of arts and crafts projects.
Katherine will be sorely missed by all who knew her, she was truly a selfless woman, who was happy to put the needs of others before her own.
