Katie C. Hall, a dedicated individual who served Greenville County as a supervisor in administration for the detention center, has peacefully passed away at the age of 72 in Greenville, SC. Born in Anderson, SC, on October 13, 1951, Katie's life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to her family, career, and community.

Throughout her career in public service, Katie made a lasting impact on those around her with her strong work ethic and compassionate nature. Her colleagues remember her as a beacon of reliability and integrity within the Greenville County Detention Center.

Outside of work, Katie cherished moments spent with her loved ones and engaging in various hobbies. She found joy in driving through the mountains, watching TV with her children, going out for brunch, taking care of her home, and playing with her beloved dogs. These simple pleasures reflected Katie's down-to-earth personality: generous, grateful, caring, and selfless.

Among Katie's proudest accomplishments were raising her children with love and dedication, nurturing a successful career that spanned years of service to her community, and embodying a self-reliant spirit that inspired all who knew her.

Katie C. Hall is survived by her daughter and caregiver Shannon Hall Clark and husband Jesse, daughter Katherine Hall and husband Steve, brother Jerry Clement and his wife Lavinia, sister Shirley Clement, and nephew Brian Clement. She was predeceased by her mother Lorene Shirley Clement, father Lynde Delos Clement, and brother Lynde Clement.

A "Celebration of Life" service in honor of Katie will be held at the Cremation Society Of South Carolina - Westville Funerals in Greenville on March 2nd starting at 11:00 AM. It will be an opportunity for family and friends to come together to remember Katie's remarkable life and legacy.
