Kelli DeNeen Pellerin, 56, of Greenville, SC, lost her courageous and well-fought battle with breast cancer on May 10, 2025, surrounded by family and close friends. Kelli was born on April 21, 1969, to Richard and Charlsie Bremer in Wausau, WI. Kelli graduated from A. C. Jones High School in Beeville, TX, and went on to attend Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX, where she majored in Psychology.
Upon completing her degree, Kelli dedicated herself to the children of the Upstate as a Child Life Specialist with the Greenville Hospital System, now PRISMA. She spent the majority of her 30-year career in the Children's Emergency Center, but also supported children through the Children's Advocacy Center, as well as donating her time to Make-A-Wish. In 2006, she was recognized for her professional and personal commitments, receiving the prestigious Caregiver-of-the-Year Award. Helping friends and family was the cornerstone of Kelli's foundation.
Kelli's biggest passion, however, was her family. She and her husband, Henry, welcomed "two precious children" in 2006 and 2008. Those children were her world, and she taught them, through her kindness and love, how to be kind and to love others. She taught them, by example, how to care about others, help others, and be a good person. Kelli was truly selfless in everything she did, and she left a legacy that will not be forgotten.
Kelli was predeceased by her father, Richard (Dick) Bremer. She is survived by her mother, Charlsie Bremer of Texas; her husband, Henry Pellerin; her children, Olivia and Jake Pellerin; a sister, Cami Bremer of SC; a brother, Chad Bremer of Texas and Chad's wife, Lee, and their children, Caleb, Gage, and Trey. She also leaves behind a close-knit group of friends and co-workers.
A celebration of Kelli's life will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, located at 1100 Log Shoals Road, Mauldin, SC. Services will begin at 1 pm on Saturday, June 7, 2025. A reception with refreshments will be held afterwards at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to causes (s) that not only Kelli was involved in but also cared deeply about:
