Kenneth Stuart Meyer, passed away on November 27, 2025, in Greenville, South Carolina. Born on June 13, 1956, in Pensacola, Florida, Kenneth is remembered for his loving, intelligent, and gentle nature—a true beacon of warmth and kindness to those who knew him.
Throughout his career, Kenneth distinguished himself as an Automotive Drivability Specialist, sharing his extensive knowledge and expertise by teaching automotive classes. His passion for the field was only rivaled by his enthusiasm for collecting Hot Wheel cars, automotive patches, and Star Trek ornaments. Kenneth was a teacher at heart. He had a special affection for 1969 Camaros, loved engaging in Jeopardy trivia and enjoyed the serene pleasure of bird watching—hobbies that truly reflected his vibrant personality and varied interests.
In addition to his professional achievements, Kenneth served honorably in the U.S. Air Force as an Administrative Specialist, exemplifying dedication and commitment to his country.
Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife, Georgia Meyer; children Heather Bennett and Barry Green, Jr. (Jessica); grandchildren Jordan Bennett, Amaya Bennett, Alexander Holden, Andi Green, and Jace Green; siblings Terri Guerra Musor (Bob), Richard Meyer, Lisa McDonald, and John Meyer (Tammy); and several nieces and nephews who will carry on his legacy of love and compassion.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Meyer, and mother, Ruth Meyer, who played significant roles in shaping the man he became.
Receiving of friends will be held on December 5, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM, and a memorial service will start at 2:00 PM, at the Cremation Society of SC - Westville Funerals, located at 6010 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611. This gathering will celebrate Kenneth’s life and the immeasurable impact he had on all who had the privilege to know him.
Kenneth Stuart Meyer will be dearly missed, remembered fondly for his contributions to his family, community, and profession. His legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the love he shared.
