LaDonna Sullivan Spears

Mrs. LaDonna Sullivan Spears of 115 Jackson Rd., Simpsonville, SC, wife of JD Spears, Jr. for 23 years and the first-born daughter of the late Ms. Barbara L. Sullivan and Mr. Bobby L. Sullivan, entered Eternal Rest September 28, 2026.

LaDonna was born in Greenville, SC and educated at Greenville County Schools graduating from Southside High School. She furthered her education at Bauder Fashion College and Greenville Technical College earning accreditations in fashion and accounting, respectively.

She was a faithful member of Rocky Creek Missionary Baptist Church where she utilized her talented voice to sing praises to her Lord and her spiritual gift of service. She was early retired from American Leprosy Missions accounting department as well as retirement from Inteplast of Gray Court, SC as an administrative assistant. Post retirement, LaDonna stayed active with her business Per Your Request (PYR) Catering Plus, preparing meals, baking cakes and providing “nanny/auntie childcare” services.

Surviving, in addition to her husband: two sons, Branden L. Sullivan of Simpsonville, SC and Anthony M. Sullivan of Jacksonville, FL; one sister, Brenda L. Sullivan of Woodbridge, VA; 5 grandchildren, two aunts, one uncle, other relatives and a host of “adopted” family and friends.

Per LaDonna’s wishes there will be no public memorial but a small intimate gathering with close family members.
