Laura Ashley Bishop of Clinton, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2026.

Laura was born March 8, 1976 in Greenwood, SC to William (Bill) Bishop and Martha Pelham Bishop.

She was a 1994 graduate of Clinton High School. She attended Lander University and went on to obtain a degree in human nutrition from Winthrop University.

Laura was always a friend to anyone she met. She had friends far and wide. She loved life and was always the life of the party . She was always up for meeting to enjoy a good meal and she enjoyed shopping and traveling to Florida to visit her mother and extended family. She loved her family and her soul dog Amelia more than anything.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her partner Ken McSwain of Waterloo, her children Matthew and Megan Redfearn of Cheraw, her sister Leslie Wolfe of Boiling Springs, nieces Rebecca Wolfe of Savannah and Leanne Wolfe of Boiling Springs; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
