Lauri Jordan, lovingly known as Lauri, passed away on April 21, 2026, in Anderson, South Carolina, at the age of 67.

Born on December 11, 1958, in Anderson, South Carolina, Lauri lived a life marked by love, devotion, and strength. She was a cherished daughter, mother, grandmother, life partner, sister, and friend whose presence brought warmth and comfort to those around her. Lauri will be remembered most for the deep care she showed to her family and for the kindness she extended to others throughout her life.

Lauri was the beloved daughter of Doris Clinkscales and the late Sunny Clinkscales. She is preceded in death by her son, Brent Jordan. She is survived by her son, David "Marty" Jordan; her life partner, Randy Whitney; her half sister, Mecheal Donalds; her half brother, James "Spud" Donalds; and her treasured grandchildren, Krei Jordan, Kenzi Jordan, Kloey Jordan, Alexis Sous, Destiny LaCount, and Cory LaCount. Her family was the center of her world, and she found her greatest joy in being a loving mother and grandmother.

Those who knew Lauri will remember her as loving, spirited, and intelligent. She carried herself with a quiet strength and a generous heart, and she made a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her personality was vibrant and genuine, and she had a way of making others feel cared for and understood. Lauri’s love for her family was unwavering, and her devotion to those she held dear was evident in all that she did.

Lauri dedicated part of her life to caring for others as a nurse at Aurora Care Nursing Home in Aurora, Colorado. In that role, she brought compassion, professionalism, and dignity to the people she served. Her work reflected the best of who she was, as she approached each day with patience, empathy, and a sincere desire to help others. She touched many lives through her nursing career, and her influence will be remembered by coworkers, patients, and all who benefited from her care.

Outside of her work, Lauri found joy in the simple and meaningful parts of life. She loved her dogs more than anything, and her affection for them was well known to those close to her. Her home and heart were filled with love, and she found comfort and companionship in the animals she adored. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, especially her children and grandchildren, whose lives she enriched with her love and support.

Lauri’s life was one of devotion, resilience, and deep affection for the people and animals she loved. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and family devotion that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her memory will be cherished always, and her spirit will remain a lasting source of comfort to her loved ones.
