Leslie Raymond Lacey

Leslie Raymond Lacey, 83, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026, leaving behind a life remembered for his quiet nature, simple pleasures, and love of the outdoors and the past.

Leslie was a loyal husband to Hazel Lacey for 59 years and father to his daughters, Tonya Lacey and Rachael Lacey, and sons, Michael Lacey and David Lacey. He is survived by his grandchildren Alyssa, Mia, Emily, Pressley and Baby Brown. He worked as a computer operator and carpenter and took pride in his work and in providing for his family.

Reserved and shy by nature, Leslie often expressed himself through the things he loved and the time he shared with those close to him. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1974 and enjoyed hosting Bible study in his home for over 25 years, as well as sharing his faith with others. He had a lifelong appreciation for carpentry/engineering, airplanes, and cars and enjoyed taking rides and walks through the mountains. He also found pleasure in watching old television programs, canoeing, and playing his guitar.

Leslie will be remembered for his quiet presence, his gentle spirit, and the unique interests that brought him joy throughout his life. We look forward to seeing him fulfill his dreams in Paradise on earth.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Memorial services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 300 E Belvue Rd, Taylors, SC 29687 on Saturday, November 7th at 2:30 PM. Zoom arrangements are also available upon request.
