Greer, SC

Levi Spencer McMillen, affectionately known as Levi to his friends and family, passed away suddenly on February 22, 2024, at the age of 31. Born on May 14, 1992, in Greenville, South Carolina, Levi was a beacon of light to all who knew him. His unexpected departure in Greer, South Carolina, has left a void that can never be filled.

Levi was the cherished son of Colleen Joy Williams and her husband, Billy Ray Williams, and Joel Duane McMillen and his wife, Pam. He loved his brothers Justin Duane McMillen and Tyler David McMillen. His life was enriched by the deep bonds he shared with his best friends, Margaret Ellen Hindman, affectionately known as Ellie or Mochi, and Heather Marie Page. Levi was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Spencer Castle Jr. and Edna Jane Castle, as well as James Duane McMillen and Joanne McMillen. His uncle, Kerry Spencer Castle, also preceded him in passing.

Levi's professional life was marked by his dedication and hard work. He took pride in his role as a Material Handler for an auction house and showed the same commitment and attention to detail as a Road Flagger. His colleagues will remember him as a reliable and friendly presence, always ready to lend a hand or share a smile.

A man of many interests, Levi was happiest when he was outdoors, working with his hands. He had a profound appreciation for the natural world, and star gazing was one of his favorite activities. It was under the vast, open sky that Levi felt most at peace, contemplating the universe's mysteries and the beauty of the cosmos.

Those who knew Levi would describe him as loving, thoughtful, and friendly. He had a way of making everyone around him feel special and valued. Levi's kindness and generosity of spirit were evident in every interaction, and his absence will be deeply felt by the many lives he touched.

Levi's life was a testament to the power of love and friendship. He nurtured his relationships with care and was always there for his loved ones in times of need. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we say goodbye to Levi Spencer McMillen, we celebrate the time we had with him and the joy he brought into our lives. He will be profoundly missed, but we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. Levi's memory will be cherished forever, a reminder of the love and light he shared so freely with the world.
