Linda Bogoff, born on October 13, 1951, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on August 8, 2026. Her journey through life was one of vibrant spirit, caring dedication, and a remarkable openness to the world’s wonders.
Linda’s story began in England, and her formative years took her across continents, growing up in both England and Australia. Her experiences attending boarding school in Switzerland broadened her horizons and shaped her into a true world traveler. She later lived in Spain with her first husband before establishing her home in the United States in the early 1970s, where she would begin the next chapter of a richly lived life. Her adventurous spirit knew few bounds. exploring new destinations and immersed herself in the cultures that enriched her perspective.
Throughout her years, Linda was a devoted mother and established a nurturing home, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to raising her daughter. Her passion for helping others was evident in her professional life as a nurse, where her compassion and kindness touched all those she cared for.
Linda’s life was filled with many interests that brought her joy and serenity. She found deep satisfaction in gardening, cultivating not just plants but a sense of peace and beauty wherever she went. A lifelong lover of reading, Linda treasured the escape and wisdom that books brought into her life. She was also an artist at heart, expressing her creativity through creating intricate stained glass, leaving behind stunning pieces that capture her love for color and light.
A truly spiritual individual, Linda infused her life with a quiet confidence and faith, often sharing her guiding words: “I am divinely guided and protected.” That sense of reassurance and hope remained with her and those closest to her throughout the years.
Linda Bogoff is survived by her loving brother, Marcus Skinner; her daughter, Sophie Titera, Steven Short (Sophie’s longtime significant other) ; and Tom Titera. They, along with friends and loved ones, mourn the loss of a woman whose presence brought warmth and light to their lives.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Christine Skinner; father, Dr. Edward Skinner; sister, Corinne Kelley; nephew, Spencer Bayne; uncle, Don Marshall; and many cousins in England
A memorial service to honor Linda’s memory will be held on August 28, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Cremation Society Of South Carolina - Westville Funerals, located at 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611. All who knew and cared for Linda are welcome to come together in remembrance.
Those fortunate enough to have been part of Linda’s journey will remember her devotion, her boundless curiosity, and her gentle wisdom. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she cherished.
