Linda Holbert

Linda Holbert, lovingly known simply as Linda, passed away on September 12, 2026, in Anderson, South Carolina, at the age of 76. Born on December 21, 1949, in Greenville, South Carolina, Linda was a woman of quiet strength, a gentle heart, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She graduated from Hillcrest High School and found her greatest joy in the simple things—her faith, going to church, and, most of all, spending time with the people she loved.

Linda had a way of making people feel cared for. She was kind, thoughtful, and generous, always willing to offer a listening ear, a comforting word, or simply her presence. Her family meant everything to her, and the love she gave them will remain with them forever.

Linda is survived by her son, David Henderson, and his wife, Andrea; her sister, Judy Lee; her brother, Vernon Ennis; and many extended family members who will forever cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bennie Ennis, Dwain Ennis, and Tracy Ennis, and her sister, Marlene Case.

Linda leaves behind more than memories. She leaves behind the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the countless little moments that her family and friends will carry in their hearts. She will be deeply missed, but the love she shared will never be forgotten.

Celebration of Life

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Cremation Society of South Carolina – Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29611.

This will be an informal and relaxed gathering. Come as you are. There is no need to dress up or feel that you have to do anything a certain way. That is exactly how Linda would have wanted it. Come comfortable. Come share a story, a laugh, a memory—or simply come spend a little time with those who loved her.

We hope you will join us in celebrating Linda’s life and remembering her in a way that feels true to who she was.
