Linda Faye Morgan, a beacon of love and selflessness, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2024, in Traveler's Rest, SC, leaving behind a legacy of courage and thoughtfulness. Born on December 22, 1947, in Spartanburg, SC, Linda's life was a testament to the power of nurturing and devotion. Linda's journey was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family, a circle of love that included the love of her life, Gene Morgan, her children Ricky, Gena, Floyd, and LeeAnn, and her cherished grandchildren Landon, Peyton, and Paxton. She was a sister of enduring bonds to Sue Wood and Sheryl Skipper. Linda's life was also touched by the memory of her late parents, Howard and Eva Skipper, and her siblings Bobby, Bill, Jerry, Lessie, and Carolyn, who predeceased her. The family would like to say a special thank you to Darlee Shrum, Carla Hawkins, Evelyn Duncan, Legare Boyle, Ute Tomlin, and Erin Macguire for helping care for her during her lengthy illness. Professionally, Linda excelled in supply management and as a cosmetologist, where her meticulous care and warm personality brightened the lives of all she encountered. Her involvement in associations was marked by the same dedication and excellence she brought to every aspect of her life. Linda's passions were as nurturing as her spirit; she found joy in yard work, gardening, and cooking—creating spaces of beauty and plates of warmth for all to enjoy. Her greatest delight was having breakfast with her family, where laughter mingled throughout, and everyone enjoyed her amazing gravy biscuits. Linda Morgan lived a life that exemplified thoughtfulness, courage, and selflessness. Linda was a cancer survivor and was known for her strength and courage. Her story is not one of an end but a continuing inspiration for all who knew her. Linda's legacy will flourish in the gardens she tended the family she adored, and the countless lives she touched with her generous heart.
