Born on January 2, 1948, in Hendersonville, North Carolina, Linda was a woman whose life was defined by her spirited nature and unwavering devotion to her family.

Linda's journey began as the cherished daughter of the late John and Natalya Brock. She grew up alongside her sister, the late Lana Rhea Rushing, in the lush landscapes of North Carolina, where she developed a profound appreciation for the natural world. This love for nature stayed with Linda throughout her life, manifesting in her passion for camping and her adoration for animals, especially wolves.

As a homemaker, Linda poured her heart into creating a warm and welcoming home for her beloved husband, Don Morris, and her children, Eddie Morris(Laura) Nechia Carroll, and Rhea Morris. Her nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren, Savannah, Brayden, the late McKinsey, Sharayah Anne, Natalie, Kaylee, Erica, and Heath, and her great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Corbin, Aubree, McKinsey, Freya and Ethel-Claire. Each of them was a precious thread in the rich tapestry of her life.
