Linda Louise Simmons, beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt and grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026, in her hometown of Taylors, South Carolina. Born on June 18, 1970, she brought joy and warmth into the lives of everyone she encountered.

From an early age, Linda exhibited a kind, thoughtful, and generous spirit that would define her character throughout her life. Her unwavering love for her family and friends was felt deeply, and her nurturing presence brought comfort to those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Linda Spent her life caring for her mother and was known for her strong will, vibrant Spirit, and kind heart. She welcomed all with Open arms and showing unconditional love and acceptance, she had a Special fondness for Mustangs, especially her silver one.

Linda was the loving daughter of Grace Martha Parker and the late James Arthur Simmons. She shared a special bond with her sister, Christine Yvette Nix, although she mourned the loss of her sister, she cherished the memories they shared and held her close in her heart. Together, they created memories filled with laughter and love.

As a devoted mother, Linda found immense joy in her role, cherishing her relationship with her children. She could often be seen supporting her children, Colleen Wortham (Justin), Cathleen Kuipers and Alexes Spain, her stepsons, Michael Spain and Matthew Spain and her niece Olivia Rose (Shane). Her love for her family only grew as she became a grandmother to Breonna, Bentley, Izaak, and Joziah. Linda’s gentle guidance and boundless affection were gifts that her grandchildren will carry with them throughout their lives.

In her quiet yet impactful way, Linda Simmons left a mark on the world that will not soon be forgotten. She touched the lives of many, reminding those around her of the importance of kindness and generosity. Her legacy of love will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends.

Linda will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
