Lydia, a graduate of Jackson High School in 1967, carried the spirit of her education throughout her life, using her knowledge and passion to inspire those around her. She was a gifted artist who found solace and joy in her creations, often capturing the beauty of the natural world she adored. Her love for the outdoors was only matched by her deep religious faith, which guided her through life's journey with grace and compassion.
Known for her friendly demeanor, Lydia never met a stranger. Her creative soul was evident in every aspect of her life, from her paintings to her garden, and even in the way she lovingly raised her children. She was a woman of faith, whose trust in the divine was unshakeable and served as a source of strength for her and her family.
Lydia was the cherished daughter of the late Myrtle and Charles Peebles and was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and Harry Peebles.
