Martha Ann Faucett, affectionately known as Ann, passed away on May 12, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and creativity that touched all who knew her. Born on April 9, 1955, to the late William "Bill" Pace and Annie "Ruth" Pace. Ann was a woman whose spirit was defined by her warmth, selflessness, and optimistic outlook on life.
Ann was cherished for her loving nature and friendly demeanor. She was deeply committed to her family and found joy in the simple yet meaningful acts of caring for those around her. A gifted seamstress, Ann's creativity blossomed in her sewing, where she crafted beautiful works with skill and passion. Her cooking was another testament to her nurturing heart, especially her renowned biscuits, which became a beloved staple at family gatherings.
Family was at the core of Ann’s life. She treasured her time spent with her daughters, Jennifer Willingham and Bonnie Alexander (Bobby), and delighted in the company of her grandchildren—Tiffany Brezeale (Michael), Nicole Pace-Alexander, and Megan Pace-Alexander. Her love extended to her great-grandchildren—Bradley Pace-Alexander, Michael Brezeale, Madelyn Pace-Alexander, Mildred Brezeale, and Morgana Brezeale—who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her siblings, Ray Holcombe, Gwen Collins (Frank), and Barbara Pace. Though her beloved partner, Ray Nix, stepchild Diane Hatfield, and brother Jerry Holcombe (Lois), have preceded her in death, Ann’s memory lives on vibrantly through the hearts of her family. Ann also held a special place in her heart for her stepchildren, John Nix, Deborah Hord, and David Nix, as well as her step-grandchildren Abigail Gary (Jason), Kenneth Hatfield (Timberly), and Katie.
Ann’s love for animals was evident in her devotion to dogs and cats, tending to their needs with the same tenderness she extended to her human family. Her enthusiasm for family get-togethers was contagious, creating moments filled with laughter and connection that will be fondly remembered by all.
Martha Ann Faucett’s legacy is one of unyielding love, generosity, and creative spirit. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those fortunate enough to have shared in her life’s journey. May her soul rest in peace.
Receiving of friends will be held from 3-4 P.M. and a memorial service will be held from 4-5 P.M., on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the Cremation Society of SC - Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611.
