He was a devoted father to his sons, Martin Shields married to Stacey, and Matt Shields, married to Kristina. Marty took great pride in his role as a grandfather to Matthew, Kailey, Aidan, Matthew, Nicholas, Jason, and Ryan.
Predeceased by his parents, Nora and Martin Shields, and his sister, Eileen Kelly, Marty's legacy of love and warmth lives on through his family and all who knew him.
Marty served his country with honor as a U.S. Veteran, a period of his life that instilled a deep sense of duty and patriotism.
