Mary Willis Capps, 94, formerly of Newland Ave., passed away August 4, 2014.
Born in Tryon, NC, she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Mamie Rhodes Willis. She was retired from Piedmont Industries and the Quilt Gallery of Easley.
Surviving are four children, Jean Capps Robbins (Paul) of Xenia, OH, Judy Capps Wright (Bobby) of York, Johnny W. Capps (Robin) of Dickson, TN, and Jo Capps Banks (Joe) of Liberty; 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; and one sister, Josephine Franklin of Asheville, NC. Predeceased were three brothers, Aaron Willis, Louie Willis and Dudley Willis.
Graveside services will be held at 10AM on Wednesday August 6 at Beth Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Temple of Israel, 400 Spring Forest Rd., Greenville, SC 29615.
