Mary Evelyn Perkins

Mary Evelyn Perkins, affectionately known as Evelyn, was born on June 23, 1926, and passed away on December 26, 2025. She lived a life rich with love, family, and cherished memories, touching the hearts of many during her time with us. She was a devoted Christian and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church for many years. 

Evelyn's legacy lives on through her beloved family. She is survived by her son, Joel Alexander Perkins, and his wife, Donna Shirley Perkins. Evelyn's nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren, Logan (Sloan), Connor (Addie), and Baileigh Rose, along with her four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Cybil McAbee.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Warren J. Perkins, who held a special place in her heart. Their love was an enduring presence in her life, and his absence is felt deeply by all who knew them together.

Evelyn's passion for life shone brightly in her love for her grandchildren, and she dedicated much of her time to nurturing and supporting them. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support had a profound impact on those around her, and her presence will be dearly missed.

The funeral service honoring Evelyn will be held at the Cremation Society Of South Carolina - Westville Funerals Operations Center, located at 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC, on December 31, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM.
