Mary Ann Perkins

Mary Ann Perkins, 91, of Simpsonville, SC, wife of 61 years to the late Ronald Gaines Perkins, died Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

Born in South Boston, Virginia on October 4, 1932, Mary Ann was the daughter of the late Charles Talcott Nichols, Sr. and Martha Ann Crews Nichols.

Mary Ann worked many years at MDI and JP Stevens / Westpoint before retiring.

Mary Ann will be sadly missed by her daughters, Mary Perkins Esposito and husband Phillip and Jane Perkins Harkins and husband Scott; grandchildren, Hannah Sabetti and husband Michael, Leah Nix and husband Kellan, Jordan Esposito and wife Ellie and Tyler and Sydney Harkins.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by brother, Charlie T Nichols, Jr; sisters, Sarah Franklin, Clarice Whitehead, Eloise Hedderly and great grandson, Caleb Nix.

Mary Ann was a proud member of Townville Presbyterian Church.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Brookwood Church Chapel in Simpsonville, SC on Sunday October 27, 2024 at 2:00 pm. A private Inurnment will take place at Townville Presbyterian Church Columbarium at a later date.
