Mary Ross, 63, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026.

Born on February 12, 1962, to Jimmy Hinkle and Etta Capps, Mary dedicated her life to her family and to touching the lives of others with her warmth and generosity. She was a devoted and loving mother to her children, Brandon Ross (Tiffany) and Kristi Ross, and a cherished grandmother to her grandchildren, Aniyah Ross and James Ross. Nothing brought her greater happiness than time spent with her family, watching her grandchildren grow, and being their biggest supporter.

Mary was known far and wide for her kind heart. She treated everyone she met with respect, compassion, and genuine care, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.

Mary is survived by her son, Brandon Ross, and his wife, Tiffany Ross; her daughter, Kristi Ross; her grandchildren, Aniyah Ross and James Ross; her fiancé, Howard Nix; and numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Hinkle and Etta Capps, and her sister, Cindy Ross.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, beginning at 2:15 p.m., with services to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.

Mary's love, kindness, and gentle spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed.
