Melissa Worley

Melissa "Missy" Worley, a beacon of love and laughter, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, in Greenville, SC, at the age of 52. Born on September 25, 1972, Missy's life was a testament to the joy and selflessness she brought into the world.

Missy was a cherished wife to Thomas Worley, a devoted mother to Jackie Wymer (Ryan), Chris Worley, and Kimberly Churray, and an adored grandmother to Logan and Levi. Her love and guidance were the cornerstones of her family. She was the beloved daughter of Jack Simmons and the late Sally Quick, and a treasured sister to the late Amy Garrett and Christina Ann Simmons. Missy also held a special place in the hearts of her mother-in-law, Fredda Worley, her uncle Bill Baldwin (Rose), her uncle Bo Mullinax (Marsha), close friends Robert and Anda Pittman and numerous friends and relatives who will miss her dearly.

A proud graduate of Palmetto High School, Missy's dedication to her education was a prelude to her long and fulfilling career with IVC, formerly known as Nutra. Her work ethic and commitment to excellence left a lasting impact on her colleagues and the many lives she touched through her professional endeavors.

Missy's zest for life was evident in her love for camping and the great outdoors. Her happiest moments were those spent surrounded by the laughter of her family and friends. An avid lover of pandas, Missy's gentle and playful spirit mirrored the endearing qualities of these cherished animals.

Those who knew Missy will remember her as a loving, funny, and selfless individual. Her ability to light up a room with her humor and warmth was unparalleled. Missy's legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
