Nancy Jean Cantrell, born on March 5, 1968, in Franklin, Macon County, North Carolina, passed away at home on May 10, 2026. She was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose presence touched the lives of many.

Nancy was known for her deep love and dedication to her family. She treasured the time spent visiting with friends and relatives, holding close the memories and gifts she had received over the years. The daughter of Ida Dell Cantrell and Marion Virgil Cantrell, both of whom have preceded her in death, Nancy was one of several siblings. She is mourned by her brothers Marion V. Cantrell (Cindy) of Powdersville, SC; Tommy J. Cantrell (Carolyn) of Greenville, SC; Richard L. Cantrell (Ashley) of Easley, SC; and her sister Karen L. Merritt (Hosea) of Greenville, SC. The family also remembers Johnny, her brother who has passed away, and holds close the memory of her nephew Matt.
