Palmerino Bucci

Palmerino “Rino” Bucci passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 14, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on March 21, 1937, in Chieti, Italy, he was the son of Adamo and Marianna (Pellegrini) Bucci.

Rino is survived by his beloved wife, Olide Bucci (Pavone); his daughters, Dana Bucci, Tanya Waters (Colvin), and Marina Lehrer (Jeff); and his six cherished grandchildren—Christa, Callie, Anna, Zack, Alaina, and Julia.

Known for his green thumb as a talented fig grower, his knack for fixing just about anything, and his devotion to “Lucky 13,” Rino wore many titles with pride—husband, father, uncle, and brother—but his favorite of all was “Poppy.” He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and family.

A private family gathering will be held in his memory.
