Patricia Ann Bowman

Patricia Ann Bowman, affectionately known as Patti to her friends and family, passed away on July 7, 2025, in Taylors, South Carolina. Born on July 3, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio, Patti was a beacon of love and generosity to all who knew her. Her life was a testament to the power of selflessness and the enduring strength of familial bonds.

Patti's early years in Columbus laid the foundation for a life filled with joy, laughter, and the love of her family. She was the cherished daughter of the late Nolan R. and Betty A. Brumfield and grew up alongside her devoted siblings, Pamela Miller (Bob) and Rick Brumfield (Kris). Patti's journey led her to the love of her life, Douglas Bowman, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage of 31 years. Together, they built a life full of shared passions and unwavering support for one another.

Patti's interests and hobbies were a reflection of her vibrant spirit. She was an avid Ohio State football fan, her enthusiasm for the game as infectious as her smile. Her love for movies provided countless hours of entertainment and togetherness for her family. Patti also found joy in bowling, a pastime that allowed her to forge lasting friendships and create cherished memories.

A true partner in life, Patti supported her husband Doug's woodworking hobby with unwavering enthusiasm, always his number one fan. Her love for sweet tea, cooking, and the simple pleasures of life were hallmarks of her nurturing soul. Patti's kitchen was a place of warmth and delicious aromas, where she lovingly prepared meals that brought her family together.

Patti's legacy is carried on by her loving family, including her son, Daniel Lewis; her grandson, Zack Lewis; her stepson, Matt Bowman (Shelli); her nieces, Chase, Michelle, Victoria, and Tara; and her siblings, Pamela Miller (Bob) and Rick Brumfield (Kris). Her husband, Douglas Bowman, remains a testament to their enduring love. Patti was predeceased by her father, Nolan R. Brumfield, and her mother, Betty A. Brumfield.

Those who knew Patti will remember her as the epitome of generosity, selflessness, and thoughtfulness. She always put others ahead of herself, offering her support and kindness without hesitation. Her presence was a gift to those who had the privilege of knowing her, and her memory will continue to inspire acts of love and compassion.
