Paul Robert Bridges

Paul Robert Bridges, passed away peacefully at home on August 31, 2026, in Liberty, South Carolina, at the age of 59.Born on December 1, 1966, in Greenville, South Carolina, Paul left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. 

He carried with him the values of his upbringing throughout his life, and those who knew him will remember him as a man who was funny, creative, and spirited. His presence brought energy to every room, and his sense of humor and lively personality made him a man you couldn't forget.

Paul made his living as an electrician. Outside of work, Paul found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed golfing and fishing, pastimes that gave him time to spend with the people he loved. He was also a devoted Clemson sports fan, and he followed his teams with enthusiasm and pride. Whether he was watching a game, spending time on the water, or enjoying a day on the course, Paul embraced the moments that brought him happiness and connection.

Family was central to Paul’s life, and he deeply cherished the people he loved. He is survived by his son, Cody Bridges, and Cody’s wife, Amber. He was a proud grandfather to Waylon, Hunter, Autumn, and Clarabelle Bridges, and he treasured the joy and love they brought into his life. He is also survived by his sister, Sherry Bridges, and his brothers, Larry Bridges and his wife, Eileen, Eddie Bridges and his wife, Tracy, and Chuck Bridges and his wife, Lisa. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Clara Bridges, whose memory remained an important part of his life.

Paul Robert Bridges leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories. His family and friends will hold close the many moments they shared with him, and they will remember him with gratitude for the joy he brought into their lives. Though he is no longer with them, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him
