Paul Randolph Guthrie, fondly known Randy, passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on October 24, 1953, Randy dedicated a significant part of his life to a career in security, where he was known for his professionalism and commitment.
Randy was characterized by his loving nature and an infectious sense of humor that brought joy to those around him. He possessed a vibrant passion for life, which was evident through his many hobbies and interests. A true lover of entertainment, he spent countless hours watching game shows, finding excitement in their unpredictability. His passion for country music resonated deeply, providing the soundtrack to many cherished moments. Additionally, Randy was an avid fan of Nascar and Clemson football, cheering passionately for his favorite teams.
Randy’s playful spirit often shone through his love for being a joker, bringing laughter and delight to family gatherings and social events. He created a legacy of warmth and joy, a trait that will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Randy is survived by his beloved wife, Sueann, and his children, Jessica, Tiffany, Rand Austin, Zachary, Ben, and Stephanie. He will also be dearly missed by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immense pride and happiness to his life. His sisters, Shirley(Adnan), Patty, Linda (Berry), and James (Debbie) mourn his passing, as do all who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
Randy joins his parents, Austin and Francis, along with his siblings Ben, Lewis, Darlene, and Harold, and his daughter, Mary Francis Rose Guthrie, in eternal rest. His departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who loved him, yet his spirit will remain alive in the cherished memories he created throughout his life.
