Starts at 11:30 am (Eastern time)
Paul Adrian McGahee, Jr., passed away on April 15, 2026. Born on September 21, 1953, Paul was known not only for his professional dedication but also for his vibrant personality that blended humor, deep faith, and a spirited approach to life.
Paul worked as a state manager with Southern Wines and Spirits during his career, a role he carried out with dedication and a strong sense of responsibility.
Paul’s personal passions were as lively as his sense of humor. A steadfast Georgia Bulldog fan, he enjoyed the thrill of football and carried that same energetic spirit into his younger years on the golf course. Friends and family fondly recall his unique talent as the "dog whisperer," a nickname earned through his gentle and intuitive connection with his dogs.
He was a man whose faith provided a strong foundation, enriching his relationships and guiding his journey through life’s challenges and joys. His humor, faith-filled nature, and spirited character left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Paul is lovingly survived by his beloved spouse, Audrey Leigh McGahee; his devoted daughters, Emily Anne McGahee, Megan Leigh McGahee, and Rachael Amanda McGahee; and his sister, Harriet McGahee Boyle (Keith Boyle).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Adrian McGahee and Emily Youmans McGahee, and his sister, Paulette Williamson.
As family and friends come together to honor Paul’s remarkable life, they remember a man whose humor brightened rooms, whose faith strengthened souls, and whose spirit uplifted those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered with respect and affection.
A service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 200 W Washington St, Greenville, SC 29601.
