Paul Wesley Russell, Sr.

Paul Wesley Russell Sr, age 74 of 1McDade St Greenville SC, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his wife and children. Oct 8th, 2026.

Paul spent his life in service of the Lord and others through his many years as a civil servant, accomplished Boyscout, US Army veteran, member of SC Civil Defense, Served as a SC State Constable, Dedicated Ems Paramedic with Pickens and Greenville Counties EMS, as well as the Greenville Hospital System, Assistant Fire Chief at City View Fire Department, 30 plus years at Greenville County Parks and Recreation, where he was known as "Mr Fix It". He served as a Lay leader at St Mark United Methodist Church.

Paul is survived by is wife of 52 years Ginger M Russell; Sister, Shirley Murphy (Brad); Neice, Ashley Murphy; Daughter, Penny Goss (Robert); Daughter, Donna Goolsby (Jamie); Son, Paul W Russell 2. Paul has 5 grandchildren and 7 step grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life event for Paul, time and location to be determined and announced soon.
