Priscilla Kendall Tillotson, 87, of Greenville SC passed away surrounded by family in the early hours of Friday, April 25, 2025.
Born January 5, 1938 in West Virginia, Priscilla relocated to Greenville when she attended Greenville High School. She attended Stephens Junior College in Columbia Missouri. She returned to Greenville and worked as a counselor's assistant and secretary at Vocational Rehabilitation for more than 25 years after retiring from Vocational Rehabilitation she focused her time on working with her husband to build J.F. Tillotson and Son. She later worked at Greenville Memorial as a patient sitter for more than ten years.
Priscilla will long be remembered as a loving wife and mother of 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Friends from Vocational Rehab remember her as loving and dedicated to the work of VRC.
Priscilla was predeceased by her parents, Forest "Whitie" and Mary Kendall, sister Dee Dee Kendall Goldson (Clem), and her husband, James Tillotson of Greenville. Surviving Priscilla are her brother, John Kendall (Carol), Nieces Kim, Pam and Jennifer, her daughters Sharon Tillotson Ramey, Margaret Tillotson Workman (Scott), Son Heyward Tillotson (Suzanne). She has 6 grandchildren, Allen Ramey, Katie Workman Franklin (Gavin), Kendall Tillotson (Carlie), Robin Tillotson (Eryka), Kyle Workman, Logan Tillotson (Ashlyn) and one great granddaughter, who she adored Kaylie Page Tillotson.
A celebration of life will be held at Westville Funeral Home at a later date and a private burial at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
Family is at the home of Priscilla's son Heyward Tillotson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Vocational Rehabilitation Center of Greenville in her name.
