Quincy Edward Starnes (Eddie), 71 of Rutherfordton NC passed away January 11th, 2019 at 2 pm, at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.

He is the son of the late Quincy Valentine Starnes and Doris Lee Jones. He is survived by 2 sons Michael D Starnes (Celeste) and Christopher Edward Starnes, and 1 granddaughter Abbe Starnes. One brother Dennis Starnes (Sandra), 4 sisters; Judy Conner, Gail Yelton, Susan Anderson, and Mary Busby. He is predeceased by one brother Keith Starnes.

Services will be held at Westville Funeral Home on White Horse Rd in Greenville, SC. Visitation will be at 2pm Thursday, January 17th, 2019 followed by the service at 3pm. Burial will be held at 3pm Friday January 18th, 2019 at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper VA Cemetery in Anderson, SC.
