Randall Eugene Peterson, born on May 2, 1954, in Moundsville, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, in Greenville, South Carolina. He lived a life filled with love, kindness, and laughter, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Randall dedicated 23 years of his career to Sara Lee Bakery, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues before retiring from Lowes after two and a half fulfilling years. His work ethic was only matched by his generous spirit, as he was always willing to lend a helping hand or share a kind word to brighten someone’s day.

A proud veteran, Randall served his country honorably in the United States Navy for over four years, followed by two years in the National Guard. His military service was a testament to his dedication and commitment to the values he held dear.

Randall’s vibrant personality shone through in everything he did. He was known for his humor, wisdom, and intelligence, which he shared generously with both family and friends. An avid football fan, Randall cheered passionately for his favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles, and enjoyed indulging in wrestling matches that brought him joy. Music was also a significant part of his life; he played the drums in his high school band at Bellaire High School, channeling his creativity and love for rhythm into every performance.

Among his many hobbies, Randall had a particular fondness for collecting clocks, each piece a symbol of cherished memories that marked the passage of time. But perhaps what he loved most was the companionship of his fur baby, Kash, whose playful antics were a source of endless delight.

Randall is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Peterson, who stood by his side through thick and thin. He leaves behind his son, Justin Peterson (Terra) and his brother, David Peterson (Barbara) who carry forward his legacy of kindness and strength. He was a proud grandfather to Tashayla Silver and Alexis Clark, and he took immense joy in being a great-grandfather to Enslee Silver. Each of his family members holds treasured memories that will keep Randall’s spirit alive in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his father Randall Peterson, Sr.

Randall Eugene Peterson’s memory will forever be a warm embrace, reminding us of his love, humor, and wisdom. He may have departed from this world, but the light he brought into our lives will shine on, echoing in our laughter and the stories we share.
