Ray was a devoted husband to his loving wife Gail Kellogg, and a caring father to his children Charlotte Fraser, James Smith, and Tyler Smith. He also had a close bond with his sister-in-law Carole Crites and brother-in-laws Chuck Chirico, Tom Chirico, and his best friend, Sam Chirico.

In addition to being a talented Auto CAD Designer during his professional career, Ray had varied interests and hobbies that filled his life with joy. He loved spending quality time with his family; they were the cornerstone of his happiness. Ray's dogs held a special place in his heart; he truly adored them and found solace in their presence.

One of Ray's passions was playing the guitar. Whether strumming gently or rocking out to his favorite tunes, he found peace and self-expression through the music that flowed from it.

Ray enjoyed camping and exploring the Southwestern part of the United States with his dogs in tow.  He liked to be outside even at home in his yard and tackling projects there.
