Richard Allen Wren,61, of Greenville, South Carolina passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, September 7, 2026.
Rick was born June 26, 1965 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Donna (Wren) Schlautman and Paul W Wren. He is survived by his sons, Alexander J Wren and Isaiah Bausmith, both of Waynesville, Ohio and his partner of 23 years Teresa Anderson Sims. He is also survived by his father, Paul Wren (Eva); his brother Scott Wren, (Tawnya); step-sister Karrie Mattice; step-brother Burt Mattice (Marsha); his niece Sierra Cheyenne Wren; nephew Austin Wren; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews and many friends. Rick worked for over 20 years at the White Horse Flea Market as an electronic technician and performed general maintenance wherever needed. He was quite an inventor and loved to work on electronic projects. He held a patent, that he was very proud of, for a mobile solar power source for cell phones that would benefit remote workers. Rick was devoted to Teresa and loved his dogs and cats. He was the kindest man you would ever hope to meet. He enjoyed his time at home and working on his electronic projects. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
