He was a man of faith, a skilled mechanic, and an avid sports enthusiast, whose presence will be deeply missed.
Rickie was predeceased by his loving mother, Hazel Boswell, his brother Michael, his sister Barbara Ferguson, and his niece Rebecca Ferguson, and nephew Justin Swink. He is survived by his devoted sisters, Linda Green and Tammy Lykens, and the Poemill community, who held a special place in his heart. Rickie's life was also enriched by his beloved dog, Honey, and his eleven nieces and nephews, who brought him immeasurable joy.
Rickie was a devout Baptist, finding strength and community in his faith. He was a man who lived his beliefs, offering compassion and support to those around him. Rickie's love for racing was well-known, as he spent many weekends engrossed in the sport, celebrating the victories and analyzing the defeats. His passion for the Clemson Tigers football team was equally fervent, and he could often be found cheering them on, wearing his team's colors with pride.
Rickie's life was a reflection of the things he loved and the people he held dear. His absence will leave a void in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him, but his memory will continue to inspire and comfort. Rickie's laughter, his unwavering support, and his zest for life will be remembered by all as a beacon of the joy and love he so freely gave.
