Robert was a man of remarkable intellect, holding a Masters in Divinity and Social Work, along with an honorary Doctor's Degree from Howard Payne University. His educational pursuits were driven by a selfless desire to uplift and guide his congregation and community, embodying the very principles he preached.
As a pastor, Robert possessed a profound ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life. Robert is remembered fondly by his daughter, Michelle McClendon (Rod), his son, Keith Cooper (Lark), and his beloved grandchildren: Madison McClendon, Bryce McClendon, and Lillie Cassidy (Patrick). These family members will carry forward his legacy of love, service, and dedication to family.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Euneta Cooper, who was his beloved partner in life. Their bond was a testament to enduring love, and he is now reunited with her in peace.
