IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Louis
Heath
January 8, 1934 – February 16, 2026
Robert Louis Heath, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on February 16, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on January 8, 1934, Robert dedicated his life to both his family and his career, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Throughout his professional journey, Robert made significant contributions as a technical writer for Fluor, and he also worked diligently with a dedicated team to produce technical manuals following every space launch for NASA. His commitment to excellence reflected his meticulous nature and professional integrity, earning him respect among his colleagues.
Robert's personality was as vibrant as it was kind. Known for his loving, friendly demeanor and his remarkable sense of humor, he had a unique ability to make those around him feel valued and cherished. He was also known for being handy, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a laugh with friends and family alike.
An avid bowler, Robert formerly served as president of the USBC Greenville Bowling Association and was an active director of the Bowling Association. His passion for bowling was matched only by his love for motorcycles, which he enjoyed throughout his life. Above all, he treasured spending time with his children and grandchildren, always making time for family gatherings and special moments that would create lasting memories.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Y Heath, and his loving daughters, Sandy Lou Allen (Bob Ethan Allen) of Charleston, SC, and Bobbie Jean Baites (the late Bob) of Huntsville, AL. He also leaves behind his son, Joshua Heath Stewart (Penny Stewart) of Easley, SC. His legacy continues with his cherished grandchildren: Heather Marie Allen of Simpsonville, SC; Patrick Mason Baites of Hazel Green, AL; Dena Lou Baites Roadman of Harvest, AL; Jessica Marie Handley; Ginger Baites Ashley of Hazel Green, AL; and Madison Grace Stewart of Easley, SC. Robert was also the proud grandfather of ten great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
He joins in eternal rest his late son, Richard Louis Heath of Cullman, AL, his son, Ronald Ernest Heath of Easley, SC, and his grandchild, Ashley Nicole Allen of Simpsonville, SC.
Robert Louis Heath will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his love, laughter, and the countless lives he touched throughout his remarkable journey.
A memorial service will be held in the near future.
