Robert Earl Joy

Robert Earl Joy, 79, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on February 22nd, 2021.

For forty-seven years, Robert was happily married to Bessie Mea Lewis Joy. She predeceased him in 2005.

He was a native of Greenville and was retired from the textile industry. He was a man of strong work ethic and always found a way to make others around him smile. He is survived by his two sons Phillip (Nora) of Easley and Bobby of Greer; four grandchildren Joe (Rose), Matt (Heather), John (Allison), and Amanda (James), along with a total of six great grandchildren.

He was blessed with a sweet neighbor, Ms. Sybil Rowland, who provided support and kindness to him during the final years of his life.
