We pause to honor the life and legacy of Robert Redford, who passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, at the age of 89.

Beloved actor, director, and activist, Mr. Redford gave us unforgettable films such as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Sting, and Ordinary People. As founder of the Sundance Institute and Festival, he created a lasting home for independent filmmakers and artists worldwide.

Beyond the screen, he was a passionate advocate for the environment, the arts, and social change. His vision and grace touched countless lives, and his influence will endure for generations.
