Robert Eugene Webber, affectionately known by many as "Bob," passed away on April 15, 2026. Born on May 13, 1953, Bob’s life was a testament to love, faith, and a deep commitment to the things he cherished most.
A man of immense intelligence and generosity, Bob worked with dedication at a body shop where he specialized in restoring old cars—a passion that was as much a part of him as his warm and thoughtful nature. Those who knew him well often remarked on his loving spirit and faith-filled outlook on life, qualities that carried him through his journey until his final days.
Bob found great joy in the world of automobiles. He loved attending car shows and spent countless hours fixing and bringing old cars back to their glory. Conversations with Bob were never complete without touching upon his favorite subject: cars. His enthusiasm was infectious, and anyone who shared this interest with him knew that his knowledge was both profound and generously shared.
His faith held a special place in his heart, and he was a devoted member of the Full Salvation Church. It was within this community that Bob’s loving and thoughtful spirit shone most brightly, offering support and kindness to all who crossed his path.
Bob's family was central to his life. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Elda Webber, and stepchildren Cindy and Doug Bradley. He was a proud uncle to Chad, Brent, Jordan, Caleb Webber, and Jeff Atkinson, and cherished grandfather to Mya and Brian Jeter. His joy extended further to his great-grandchild, Adrian Mack, who brought light and happiness to Bob’s later years.
He is mourned by his family and friends who cherish his memory deeply, even as they remember those who preceded him in death—his son, Robert James Webber, his beloved wife, Shirley Webber, and his grandson, Malcom Jeter.
Robert Eugene Webber’s legacy is one of steadfast faith, generosity of heart, and a passion for life’s simple pleasures. He touched many lives with his kindness and will be remembered with great respect and affection by all who had the privilege to know him.
Receiving of friends will be held on April 24, 2026, from 2-3 P.M., and a memorial service will follow, at Full Salvation Church of the Living God, 920 River St, Clifton, SC 29324.
Cremation Society of South Carolina Westville Funerals is honored to serve the family of Robert Webber.
We invite all family and friends who knew Bob to share stories, memories, and condolences in our online guestbook below.
