Roberta Dawn Johnson

Roberta Dawn (Holmes) Johnson, passed away on October 23, 2026, at the age of 82. She was born on October 12, 1944, in Cortland County, New York.

Roberta will be remembered with love by those who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Patty McConnell and husband Gerald; her son, Alan “JR” Birdlebough and late wife, Barbara; Robert Johnson, and his wife, Jenn; and her daughter, Tara Kennedy, and her husband, Ross.

 Roberta touched the lives of her ten grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. Their lives stand as part of her lasting legacy, and her memory will remain with them in the days ahead.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Elinor Holmes; eight of her siblings and her loving husband, Robert Reginald Johnson, with whom she shared 36 years of marriage

.Robert and Roberta were married on December 1, 1973. Roberta was a proud military wife and mother, serving 26 1/2 years active military.

Roberta was an avid reader, and loved puzzles, Bingo, and card games with friends.

Roberta’s life was one of family connection, enduring love, and the quiet impact that remains in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
