Robin Gann, born on August 7, 1953, in New London, passed away on June 26, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and quiet strength that touched everyone who knew her.

She was a beloved mother, sister, and friend whose life was marked by devotion to family and genuine care for others. Her friendly nature and easy smile reflected the generous and witty spirit that defined her throughout her life. She had a contagious laugh that could be heard from across a crowded room and made you smile. Those who knew her best will remember her as a woman who was not only kind and creative, but also deeply thoughtful and full of life. Robin found joy in the simple and beautiful parts of life. She loved to cook and garden. Her love of God showed in her servant’s heart. Whether it was caring for the children in the nursing home, making meals during times of need, or just someone to pray with. She was also a true social butterfly, someone who enjoyed conversation, connection, and the company of others.

Robin is survived by her children, Rachael (Shawn) Milne, Ronni Jo Howell, Angela Gann and Steven Gann; grandchildren Chloe and Kaia; siblings, Sharon Brown and Dennis Slopak. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Gann, and by her parents, Israel and Edith Slopak. Her love for her children and her devotion to those closest to her were evident in all she did. She will be remembered for the many ways she enriched the lives of others. Robin’s kindness was not reserved for special occasions but was part of her everyday nature. Her friendliness made her approachable; her creativity gave color to her life and those she interacted with. She had a gift for making ordinary moments feel meaningful, and her memory will continue to bring warmth to those who loved her. Though her passing leaves a deep emptiness, Robin Gann’s life stands as a beautiful reminder of the value of love, generosity, and human connection.
