Roger A. Bieryta, of Greer SC, passed away on Sunday, March 27th, 2022 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Joanna M. Bieryta; son Marc Bieryta; granddaughter Melanie Bieryta; two nephews, Andrew Kaplinski and Daniel Kaplinski; and sister-in-law Margaret Kaplinski.
Roger was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. He proudly served his country as a Marine for three years, and upon honorable discharge, he enrolled in college. He had a long career (over 30 years) with Michelin Tire Company. Roger was also a valued member of the Greenville Gun Club - he made many friends there, with whom he often enjoyed sharing breakfast. In later years, he took up photography and bird watching - he really enjoyed capturing wildlife in their natural habitat.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather - he will be sorely missed by not only his family but by all who knew him.
