Ruth's journey began as the cherished daughter of Evelyn and Russell Schuiling, and she grew up alongside her brothers, Raymond and Roger Schuiling, who predeceased her. Ruth's heart found its match when she married her loving husband, David Meyer, and together they navigated the waters of life for 57 beautiful years. Their love story was one for the ages, filled with shared dreams, laughter, and an unbreakable bond. The joy of their union was multiplied with the birth of their daughter, Stephanie, who, along with her husband John, Jr., gave Ruth the cherished title of 'mother.'
The family circle expanded with the arrival of grandchildren, Charles "Chip" Hunter and Rebecca Hunter, who were the apples of Ruth's eye. Alongside them, Abbey Sullivan, a special family member, added to the joy and warmth of Ruth's family life. Ruth's role as the best mother and grandmother was one she embraced with every fiber of her being, nurturing her family with love, wisdom, and the kind of support that only a heart as big as hers could provide.
