Sandy will be remembered as a loving and interesting woman whose presence brought comfort, warmth, and a steady sense of reassurance to those around her.
Sandy worked in manufacturing for most of her life, where she was known for her strong work ethic, dependability, and quiet determination. She took pride in doing her job well and understood the value of hard work. Her years in manufacturing reflected the steady character that defined her life, and she earned the respect of those who worked beside her. Sandy carried herself with a practical spirit and a kind heart, and she met each day with resilience and grace.
Above all else, Sandy treasured her family. She is survived by her daughter, Kristie Ellenburg and her husband Grover; her granddaughter, Adison Howard; her great-granddaughter, Raelynn Howard; and her grandson, Easton Harrison. She is also survived by her sister, Gail Bogle; her brother, Gary Ellenburg; her sister, Lisa Ellenburg-Plemmons and her husband, Dwayne; her half-sister, Kim Brashears and her husband, Bill; along with four nieces, one nephew, five great-nieces, and one great-nephew. Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Ernie Ellenburg, and her mother, Linda Bradley Ellenburg. Her family was an important part of her life, and she found joy in the bonds they shared across generations.
Sandy was a woman whose personality left a lasting impression. She enjoyed talking and spending time on her phone, and she loved watching the birds, finding peace and pleasure in simple moments. Those who knew her will remember her familiar and comforting words, “It will all be alright,” a phrase that reflected both her outlook on life and the encouragement she offered so freely to others.
