Listen to Obituary

Scotty Brian LeBoeuf, age 63, was born June 22, 1962, in Boston, MA. He became a member of Hampton Park Baptist Church on October 3, 2014. He passed into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday afternoon, September 26, 2025

To say Scottie was an unusual person would be an understatement. He left an impression on anyone he met. If asked, “Do you know Scottie LeBoeuf?,” the answer usually came with wide eyes, and “Oh, yes! How could I forget?”

But once you became Scottie’s friend, you were fully embraced. He would do anything he could to help you, and was always grateful for any help given to him.

Scottie faced many struggles, starting in his early childhood. Throughout his life, he wrestled with hardships that would weigh heavily on anyone. But through the efforts of Scott Bradford and many other men at Hampton Park Baptist Church and Miracle Hill Overcomers, Scottie came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and began that great race that all of us run who are in Christ.

Like many of us, he stumbled along the way. Yet, he found strength in the grace of God that never let him go. His perseverance was a testimony to the mercy and faithfulness of our heavenly Father.

Those who knew him will remember his blatant honesty about his battles. They will also remember his courage and never-ending hope anchored in the promises of Scripture. His journey reminds us that victory is not found in being free of struggle, but in persevering, leaning wholly on the Lord Jesus Christ to the very end.

And now his race is complete. Freed from the burdens of this life, he has crossed the finish line and entered into the joy of all those who have gone before, who now rejoice in the presence of Almighty God.

He is survived by his son, Scott, his daughter, Jessica, and several lovely grandchildren—and by a number of men at Miracle Hill and Hampton Park who also managed to survive him.

He would have wanted that response. He would have wanted this to be a joyous occasion. And there’s no reason it can’t be joyful for anyone who is in Christ.

But that is the key: being in Christ.
