Sheila Blanton, a nurse, sister, and mother, passed away on March 23, 2026, in Moore, South Carolina. She was born on December 18, 1971, in Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Throughout her career as a nurse, Sheila exemplified kindness and professionalism, offering comfort and care to countless patients. Beyond her vocation, she was known for her love of crocheting, gardening, and canning. Her days were often filled with tending to her garden and engaging in the rhythms of farm life, passions that brought her immense joy and a profound sense of peace.

Sheila leaves behind her beloved son, Timothy “TJ” Waugh; her daughters, Tayla Blanton (Brandon) and Morgan Blanton; and her sisters, Paula Brewster and Linda Fenten (Bill). She also leaves behind her brother, James Brewster, and her mother, Frances Sutton. Sheila was predeceased by her father, John Timothy Sutton. 

She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know her. Sheila Blanton’s legacy endures in the lives of her family, the patients she cared for, and the quiet beauty of the life she so lovingly cultivated. As her loved ones gather to remember her, they celebrate a life well-lived, full of grace and unwavering devotion.
