Sheridan Carol Gantt, a beacon of love and generosity, passed away on May 21, 2025, in her hometown of Greenville, South Carolina. Born on September 12, 2000, to Andrea Hines and Jonathan Gantt, Sheridan grew up to embody the virtues of kindness and faith that would touch the hearts of all who knew her.
Sheridan's life was a testament to her loving nature and her unwavering commitment to her family. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Naveah and Kaliyah, and a caring stepmother to Rihanna and Jaxson, children of her fiancé, Jonathon Roberts. She is also survived by her sisters, Courtney Davis (Joshua) of Piedmont, and Mckayla Gantt of Simpsonville; her grandpa, Larry Hines of Easley; her grandma Sharon Kline (Danny) of Fort Gibson; her great grandma, Rose Davis of Belton; and a special friend, Jennifer Pagen of Simpsonville. She is predeceased by her grandma, Shelby Hines of Belton and her great grandpa, Lewie Davis of Belton.
Professionally, Sheridan dedicated herself to her role as a quality inspector at Yokohama Industries Americas Manufacturing. Her meticulous attention to detail and her collaborative spirit made her a valued team member and a respected figure within the industry. Sheridan's work ethic was paralleled only by her commitment to her colleagues and the friendships she nurtured throughout her career.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sheridan was known for her vibrant interests that brought joy to her and those around her. She enjoyed skating; gliding gracefully on wheels, her laughter echoed throughout the rinks. Traveling was another passion, as she sought to explore new horizons and create unforgettable memories with her loved ones. Sheridan also found solace and expression in drawing, and in singing, her voice a melody of hope and warmth.
Sheridan's life was a living example of love in action. She was faith-filled, trusting in the journey and the purpose of her path. Her generosity knew no bounds, as she gave freely of herself to ensure the happiness and well-being of others. Those who had the privilege of knowing Sheridan will remember her for these enduring qualities that made her the extraordinary person she was.
As we bid farewell to Sheridan Carol Gantt, we celebrate the legacy she leaves behind—a legacy of love, faith, and generosity that will continue to inspire and guide us. Her light will forever shine in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to cross her path. Sheridan's spirit, now free and eternal, will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
