Steven Edward Snedigar, known affectionately as Steve to his friends and family, passed away on 5/2/25, at his home in Simpsonville, SC. Born on 1/25/55, in Wichita, Kansas, Steve's journey through life was marked by his unwavering faith, relentless optimism, and a gentle spirit that touched everyone he met.

Steve's life was a testament to the enduring power of love and family. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Gayle Ann Snedigar, whom he married on 12/24/76. Together, they built a life filled with joy and cherished memories. His role as a father to his daughters, Crysten Snedigar and Jamie Keel (Jarrett), was one he held with great pride and tenderness. Steve's heart grew even fuller with the arrival of his grandchildren, Cheyenne Elizabeth, Jacob Steven, Damon Jarrett, and Nova Lynn, who brought him immeasurable happiness.

A skilled carpenter by trade, Steve's craftsmanship and dedication to his work were evident in every project he undertook. His hands were not only adept at shaping wood but also at creating a warm and welcoming home for his loved ones. Steve's involvement in his professional community was marked by the same level of commitment and camaraderie that he showed in every aspect of his life.

Steve's passions extended beyond his workbench. He was an ardent fan of Clemson football, reveling in the thrill of the game and the camaraderie of fellow supporters. His love for NASCAR was equally fervent, with car number 48 holding a special place in his heart. Yet, above all, Steve's greatest joy was found in the time he spent with his family, which he valued more than anything else in the world.

Those who knew Steve will remember him as a man of deep faith, always looking to the brighter side of life and encouraging others to do the same. His gentle demeanor and kind heart made him a beacon of light in the lives of those around him.

Steve's legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life was a beautiful reflection of the values he held dear, and he will be deeply missed. As we bid farewell to Steven Edward Snedigar, we celebrate a life well-lived and cherish the memories that will continue to inspire us for years to come.
